You were once wild here. Don’t let them tame you.

“Blasting off” with audience members in Bluelaces Theater Company’s production of Out There! at the Actor’s Fund Arts Center.

I got my start making theater for young audiences with the Story Pirates, a national children’s media company that takes stories written by kids and adapts them into live shows, songs, and an award-winning podcast (2025 iHeart Radio: Best Kids & Family Podcast).

I directed the first national book tour for Stuck in the Stone Age, and have performed with Story Pirates at Wilco’s Solid Sound Music Festival, the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival, and countless school gymnasiums.

Everything changed for me creatively when I started making accessible theater for all ages with Bluelaces Theater Company. I was an original cast member of Out There! and was part of the cast that took SUDS to A.R.T. in Boston. I have since gone on to devise accessible theater with Lincoln Center Education and direct “relaxed” versions of Story Pirates stories for neurodivergent audiences.
